This recipe comes from a book I just love, American Family Style.


2 C. cottage cheese
2 T. sour cream
2 tomatoes, chopped
1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
1 small onion, grated
Seasoned salt to taste
Pepper sauce to taste.

Combine all ingredients and mix well. Serve chilled.

This is a yummy veggie dip, thick salad dressing or great filling for stuffed tomatoes. Spread it on sliced ham and roll for burrito type snack. The cottage cheese and sour cream can be lowfat and it still tastes great!

Sounds yummy. Wonder how it would taste if you replaced the raw veggies with some chunky salsa?
